General Maintenance Technician - Full-time Evenings (Tuesday-Saturday) - 1348131

Description

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Performing electrical, mechanical and carpentry repairs and controlling inventory of supplies, parts and tools.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED. General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical and carpentry skills. Possess ability to read blue print and schematic diagrams. Two years experience in a related position or completion of a recognized maintenance trade school course. Possess a valid driver’s license.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Performs routine plumbing repairs.

2. Performs routine electrical repairs.

3. Performs routine mechanical repairs.

4. Performs routine carpentry repairs.

5. Communicates existing and potential problems to coworkers and supervisors.

6. Reads and interprets blue prints and schematic diagrams.

7. Performs preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment.

8. Other duties as assigned.
